Pretty Little Theories! (Spoilers)

The day when they are going to reveal who Big A is in Pretty Little Liars has finally arrived! Unless like me, you live outside the US and have to wait until the next day to watch it. In the UK, it is uploaded to Netflix in the early morning so I'm very excited to see it (and planning to watch it as soon as it's on there...). In the lead up to arguably the biggest season finale the show has ever had, I thought I would share some of my thoughts on who I think may be 'Big A'!

There is so much conflicting information about Big A's identity that I literally feel it is impossible to build a really strong theory on one person. "Big A was in the pilot", "Big A wasn't in the pilot", "It's going to heartbreaking" "Viewers won't see it coming" is just very few of the clues and teasers released about the episode. I really enjoy reading theories regarding PLL but there is actually so many of them now I have given up haha. I first started watching the show when it had only aired six episodes of the first season so I've been following it for a long while now. I always thought Ezra was A as there are so many clues leading to him that I was so excited at each A reveal to see if it would finally be him that was revealed to be wearing the black hoodie. I was absolutely buzzing when it was revealed to be him in season 4 as I felt like I had finally cracked something in this big puzzle of a show. However, the fact that he was not A and was just writing a book about Ali's disappearance was a mega disappointment.

I have been discussing this show with friends for a few weeks now in build up to the season finale and to be honest with you, I literally have no idea who Big A is going to be. I feel like it could literally be anyone at this point and like I said previously, there is a lot of conflicting information and pretty much everyone in Rosewood has been suspicious at some point over the last five seasons. I have come up with a few guesses at Big A's identity of who I think it potentially could be. I won't go into too much detail as this post will end up being ridiculously long!

Wren

Wren is kind like Ezra for me, I've felt like he could be A for a pretty long time now. There has been a fair few clues pointing toward him such as "nosey bitches die" which has prominently stuck in my mind as that is the way a British person would spell nosy! I do think the majority of these clues are extremely clever red herrings either that or A is really inconsistent when leaving their trail. I feel like Wren is a very shady character and is constantly disappearing. I know he is meant to be in London right now with Melissa but you didn't even see him when Spencer visited a couple of episodes ago (That was most likely that he is currently appearing on New Girl but whatever...). I also remember of a picture of the bird Wren being in A's lair at one point too. I am not entirely too sure what Wren's motives could be against the girls but I would certainly not be surprised if Big A was revealed to be him. There is some great evidence supporting the Wren theory in this article here if you're interested!

Aria

Aria being Big A is a massively popular fan theory and I have to admit, I didn't buy into it to begin with but I think it would be really interesting if it was her. There is tonnes and tonnes of clues pointing at Aria, some of my favourites are as follows:

Everyone thought A was the Black Swan wearing the black dress...

I think the whole "Hey Big A" was a very obvious clue but an interesting one. Would viewers dismiss it because it was so clear? I remember them saying in Season 2 that A would be 'unmAsked' in the finale which saw Mona revealed as A but Aria's masquerade mask was physically removed by Ezra. Is that a coincidence? This show literally drives me insane as you can read into anything!!

I think it would be pretty twisted if Aria was Big A due to the torment all the liars have been through. I do find the theories of Aria having a split personality SO interesting and the idea that she would have no idea that she was doing this. I did read that Big A would supposedly be revealed as being mentally unstable in the finale so this would all fit in. Aria has been targeted less than the other girls asides from the box incident on the Halloween train but I read that they could of been trying to get rid of her as they knew she was Big A? Who knows!

Caleb

Big A's identity is supposed to be heartbreaking and a shocking twist that viewers aren't going to expect.  I have a feeling that Caleb could be a likely suspect but there isn't much evidence supporting him. However, he is really good at hacking showing potential intelligence and was almost revealed as A before in Season 3 so I definitely would not be surprised there. I did see today that Big A was decided on around Season 2-3 so maybe that's why Caleb wasn't chosen as A at this point?

To conclude this post, I have a few other random thoughts on the finale! Firstly I don't think Mona is dead at all. I think there is going to be a twist at some point in the episode showing that she is still alive. I think Jenna could of been the one to attack her and frame Ali whether it was planned or not. I follow Tammin Sursok on Instagram and she dyed her hair blonde a couple of months ago. Probably totally irrelevant and I'm grasping at nothing with this theory but it's niggled me ever since! I would quite like to see Jenna as Big A as she would have a motive to torture the girls. I don't think it's any of the parents contrary to the popular theory as I think that would be REALLY twisted and honestly quite disturbing...

I think Ezra may potentially be Varjack as I read that he is a character who has a typewriter and cannot finish a book! Maybe an alias he used whilst researching information when he was writing his book? There is tonnes of theories linking PLL to Breakfast at Tiffany's which are definitely worth looking up.

In terms of the Black Veil, I think she may be Ali as she was revealed to be friends with Wilden. She was still technically dead at this point so wouldn't of been able to attend his funeral without wearing some sort of disguise.

Finally I do not think Andrew is Big A, they have made it FAR too obvious over the past few weeks that it would be honestly rubbish if it turned out to be him. I do think it was him that attacked Mike though possibly to prove that Ezra was dangerous to Aria and make him look bad. He does seem to be a little strange!

Ultimately, I really think A has to be a girl as I'm not sure if A's actions mimic a guy's behaviour really. Although I do think when you do see A, it can look like a guy as they seem to change their extras each time! Some of A's actions make it hard to believe that a girl would of been able to carry them  out e.g. physical strength wise. Saying this Gossip Girl turned out to be a guy so it's anybody's guess really and it's not long until we all find out! I think there will possibly be a twist and it won't be who it appears to be. I definitely think we won't see Big A's face just yet.

I'm going to leave it there as I have already written far too much! Will you be watching the Pretty Little Liars season finale over the new couple of days? Who do YOU think Big A is? I would love to hear from you in the comments!

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

Hello there everyone and a Happy Mother's Day for all of you in the UK! I'm back today to share my thoughts on the new Netflix Original 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt'. I actually watched the whole season last weekend as it wasn't very long at 13 episodes. I love how Netflix upload all of their new shows by the season so you can continue watching for hours if you are loving the show. This concept however, encourages you to binge watch so quickly that you need to wait a year for new episodes (I'm looking at you OITNB).

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is based around a young woman who is released from an underground bunker where she has spent the last fifteen years. She was brainwashed along with a few other women by a priest (hilariously played by Jon Hamm) into thinking the apocalypse has happened. Kimmy decides to embark on her new life in New York City instead of returning back to her home town. She finds herself a job as a nanny for an incredibly rich family and a hilarious roommate who is desperate to make it onto Broadway.

What I truly loved about this show was Kimmy's unintentional ignorance to almost everything around her. There is a brilliant scene where her employer Jacqueline teaches how to take a selfie and she later picks up an iPhone with amazement at how far 'Macintosh' has come. I'm not too familiar with Ellie Kemper as I only really knew her as 'the one who was obsessed with Disney in Bridesmaids' but she is hilarious in her portrayal as Kimmy Schmidt. Her naivety and ignorance to the last fifteen years of developing technology is hilarious and very believable.

I also loved Tituss Burgess' performance as Kimmy's roommate Titus Andromedon. He is hilarious and a diva like you wouldn't believe. Members of the supporting cast are also good, it was a fairly strong ensemble in my opinion.

I would highly recommend Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt if you are looking for a quick binge watch. It is very light hearted and I can guarantee it will give you a good laugh. I would say though that it was a little silly in places and I was slightly underwhelmed by the season finale. I am excited however to see what this bunch of crazy characters get up to in Season 2. On a final note, the theme song is probably one of the catchiest TV theme's I've ever heard. Just listen to it once and you'll know what I mean!

Have you watched the show already? If so, what did you think of it?

The Versatile Blogger Award

I was very kindly nominated for The Versatile Blogger Award by Amanda over at Love and Other Awesome Stuff yesterday! I am very humbled that you though of me for this award thank you! I actually hadn't heard of this particular award before so it was exciting and a lot of fun trying to think of my seven random facts. Here it goes!

1. I entered a best friends competition with my friend before she moved to Australia to win a trip to the Nickelodeon Studios in London (we posed for a nice photo especially to submit to make a serious effort). We didn't win but we were runners up and our picture/story was printed in the magazine! We also got £100 of Adams (remember the kids clothes shop?) vouchers and our Mum's told us we would have to share them oblivious that we both had received the vouchers. My Mum and I bought tonnes of copies of the magazine so I had loads of the free gift rainbow hair clips for a long time.

2. I can bend both my big toes back towards me at the same time and sit like that quite happily. Maybe that's gross, I dunno?

3. I really don't like fruit at all, there is something about the texture of it that I just HATE. I do like grapes though and I'll eat apples very rarely. I have no problems eating fruit flavoured things though but I'm not daft on actual fruit pieces in yoghurts.

4. I was so obsessed with Sabrina the Teenage Witch when I was younger that I pointed my finger at my Dad and he coincidently banged his head on the door. I was a witch clearly.

5. I might as well just be called Dylan as people call me it all the time. I literally used to answer to Dylan at school as supply teachers just glanced at my name and instantly thought that's what it said. My classmates were even quick to say that wasn't my name!  If people aren't calling me Dylan, they are usually commenting on how unusual my name is!

6. I used to collect keyrings when I was little and presented them all to win a Brownie Badge. My sister actually has one of my favourite keyring on her house keys now. It is a yellow stringy creature with googly eyes. She calls it 'Moppy' as it literally hangs from the metal ring. It's hard to explain but it's really cool.

7. I have a mild competitive streak when I'm playing games. When I was pretty small, I was standing on a chair playing an arcade game with my Dad and I got so excited when I won that I threw my arm up in the air and I punched him in the eye. We rein-acted the moment for a photo opportunity of course.

I hope you enjoyed my extremely random facts ha! I googled the rules on nominating more bloggers and I can nominate newbie bloggers or blogs I follow regularly. Therefore I'm going to nominate some of my blogger friends that I enjoy keeping up with! I also commend Amanda for managing to come up with 15 nominations as I would never think of that many haha.

- Jude at The Wee Blondie
- Hannah at Granite City Girl
- Rebecca at Blue Eyed Fashion

Looking forward to reading your facts!

Four Favourites in February

Hello I'm back this week with my four favourites things from last month! February seemed like such quick month for me, I can't believe we are into March already!

Arizona Tea

I found this gem in Home Bargains for 89p!! I was so excited about this as I remembered seeing it a few years ago in an American sweet shop for something like £5 so the price difference is huge. They had three different varieties available in Home Bargains which were Blueberry White Tea, Pomegranate Green Tea  and Green Tea with Honey. The Blueberry White Tea was my favourite by far and I actually went back to buy a few more of these. I wasn't overly keen on the Green Tea with Honey if I'm honest. It tasted ok but didn't smell very nice at all!

Fifty Shades of Grey

Valentines weekend brought the release of the film version of Fifty Shades of Grey and I will admit I was one of the people who were at the cinema to see it the day it was released. This was actually due to the fact I couldn't go any other day that weekend (not that I was overly keen ha) but I was really looking forward to seeing it. I had a lovely afternoon out with my friend followed by dinner at one of my favourite restaurants T.G.I Friday's.  I thought the film was really good and it was much better than I expected. I won't go into my thoughts on it again as I have already done a review post here!

That 70s Show

Another favourite of the month that I have posted about in detail already (here) but I had to include as I embarrassingly watched the last two seasons in probably less than a week as I was enjoying it so much. I didn't enjoy the last season as much as the others but I really enjoyed watching so many consecutive episodes. I am rather gutted there is no new episodes now though, lets hope there is some kind of reunion soon!

Imperial Leather Skin Kind Enriching Body Wash

I picked this up in my local supermarket simply because it was on offer and I thought the bottle looked pretty. I'm actually quite bad for impulse buying toiletries simply because I like the look of them... I really need to learn to use up what I've got first! Imperial Leather is not a brand I would usually purchase if I was looking for a shower gel but I'm really impressed with this product! It smells nice and lathers up really well if you like to use a loofah like I do. It is a really big bottle too so it lasts quite a while! I will definitely repurchase this product again when it runs out.

I hope you enjoyed this post, I will be back on Thursday with my review on the new Netflix original series 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt'. What were your favourites in February?

Hanging Out Down The Street... | That 70's Show Review |

Last week I finished off the eighth and final season of That 70's Show which made me a little sad! I have mentioned this show in a favourites post before as I have been working my way through the episodes since last summer. This show is a binge favourite of mine as at 20 minutes long, it was extremely easy to watch loads in one siting! There are 200 episodes of That 70's Show in total so I thought I would share some of my thoughts on it. Obviously not on every episode because that would be ridiculous ha!

That 70's Show is set in Point Place, Wisconsin and revolves around Eric Forman played by Topher Grace and his circle of friends. There are so many interesting characters and I have a little piece of love for  pretty much every single one of them. My personal favourite is definitely Hyde who was played by Danny Masterson. There was something so casual about him and I absolutely loved his dry sense of humour. I adored Eric's mom Kitty (Debra Jo Rupp) too as she has the best laugh I have ever heard on television. Her laugh literally made the unfunniest comment funny. One of the minor characters Caroline played by Allison Munn was also great as she played the crazy girlfriend role very well. I was always happy to see her pop up again.

Apart from it's brilliantly catchy theme song, the best thing about That 70's Show is that it's cast is made up of many familiar and established actors but it was pretty much their breakthrough roles as it ran from 1998 - 2006. I personally found it really geekily interesting seeing how young they all looked! It was also crazy to see how far they have came in their acting careers now. For this reason, I think I enjoyed it more than I would of when it aired as I recognised so many faces. It has some excellent celebrity cameos including Melissa Joan Hart and Luke Wilson off the top of my head. It also introduced me to some new great actors such as Wilmer Valderrama, Debra Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith.

There are so many brilliant episodes that there are far too many to rattle off. To name a few, I particularly liked the episode with Eric and Donna's first date and there was a random one where the gang debated skipping out on a restaurant bill. That 70's Show in my opinion was consistently good across the seasons that it kept me interested to keep watching. I would say though that Season 8 was slightly more disappointing than the rest but it is the one that is most fresh in my mind. The absence of Topher Grace and Ashton Kutcher was very noticeable as it left a pretty big hole in the show. Eric and Kelso were definitely not my favourite characters but I did honestly miss them during the final season. They tried to replace them with a new character named Randy played by Josh Meyers but I felt he fell very flat. I wouldn't say he was terrible however. I was slightly underwhelmed with how the last episode wrapped the storyline up as we will never know if Donna and Eric got back together! Maybe it's better if the fans presumed so and weren't disappointed I guess. There was a scene in the last episode with Kitty complimenting each character and basically saying why she loved them. Her comment about Donna being like a daughter to her was particularly sweet. I thought it was so moving and it was a really lovely scene. You could tell that the emotion conveyed by the actors was very much real.

I adored watching That 70's Show and I'm so glad I gave it a try. Even though I was aware of it previously, I'm actually glad I didn't tune in when it originally aired as I have discovered a television gem now. I think it's more popular than I realised even now almost 10 years after it finished airing. It is now available in it's entirety on UK Netflix so I could not recommend it more. It's an easy watch that's funny and will definitely make you smile.

I'm going to have to cheat as I don't have one particular favourite. I love pasta dishes, fajitas, caesar salad and Weetabix!

What is your favourite movie?

A toss up between Mean Girls and Legally Blonde, I have loved them both for so long. There is so many quotable moments in Mean Girls and Elle Woods is such a queen. Reese Witherspoon is also my favourite actress and I think Legally Blonde is one of her best movies!

How would your ideal weekend be spent?

For an ideal weekend, the Saturday would be a days worth of shopping and going out for lunch at one of my favourite restaurants (TGIs if possible ha). Followed by a  'Lazy Sunday' as I never get them watching my favourite TV shows!

Where would you most like to travel?

I am desperate to go to New York. I have it all planned as to where I'd even like to visit! I would actually love to go back to America in general as I've been once and that that was 6 years ago.

What inspired you to start blogging?

I started reading blogs in my second year of university (3 years ago eek) and I was really interested in Fleur De Force's, Tanya Burr's and Anna Saccone's blogs in particular. I wanted to blog for a really long time before I started my own so I would say they inspired me as I loved keeping up with their posts.

Which celebrity wardrobe would you love to steal?

I really like Laura Prepon's style so I would love to raid her wardrobe! Her black jumpsuit and plaid shirt combo from a Twitter snap last year was just such a cool laid-back look. I would steal her casual clothes as I'm not too hyped about her awards season wardrobe at times!

Who would be your perfect red carpet date?

This is a great question too! Ed Westwick because I absolutely love him haha. I think he would be a perfect gentleman but maybe that's just the illusion of Chuck Bass.. Regardless, Ed seems like a really cool guy.
